Hi!

I was looking to buy a watch for the last few days and I just remembered and searched for this blog post that I saw on the fedora planet a while ago.

I think the Raketa watches are amazingly awesome and I was wondering where you bought it from and if it was kevinrussiantime I'd like to hear what your experience was with them.

Previously I was thinking of getting one of the seiko 5 military watches [1] , but I think I just changed my mind :) Btw, seeing as you're a swiss guy, what do you think about that one?

The Eco-Drive watches are a cool concept, Seiko and Casio do similar things as far as I know.

For Vostok, the German distributor seems very well known, a lot of people seem to buy from him :)

I'm a huge fan of the Citizen Eco-Drive watches, which I believe will be in the range you're looking for. Solar movement works the same as an automatic for all intents and purposes; the one I wear, a Corso, is probably a little simple for your taste but they have a pretty decent selection.
